Blending captivating history, stunning scenery, and divine food and wine that packs a punch, Porto has spiked in popularity in recent years, becoming one of Portugal’s trendiest destinations.

Porto is a fascinating place to explore on foot, lined with winding timeless streets and alleyways full of cultural delights and grand architecture, such as Porto Cathedral.

The city is known for postcard-worthy views of endless tiled buildings, but one district you shouldn’t skip is Cais da Ribeira, historic riverside district is a vibrant hub for hit up local bars and eateries and take in sweeping views of the Douro River.

New Flight To Terceira, The Azores’ Gorgeous Volcanic Island

Those seeking island bliss over city thrills should look no further than the volcanic island of Terceira.

However, you’ll be magnetized to the small-town charm of places such as Angra do Heroísmo, Biscoitos, and São Sebastião.

Angra do Heroísmo is the island’s capital and perhaps the most picturesque of all, as it’s UNESCO-recognized.

But most will want to enjoy sunny, pristine coastlines to unwind, like Riviera Beach or Escaleiras Beach.
